Gopeng, Perak

Gopeng is a small town in the state of Perak. It only has one main road. In the
town centre there are a old bus station, Police Station and filled with pre-war
shophouses. Many of the residents especially the chinese stay at the town centre,
while most of the Orang Asli live in rural areas of Gopeng.
The town along the stretch of North-South Expressway between Tapah town and Ipoh. Gopeng has one of the most scenery look in Malaysia due to its nature surounding. Today Gopeng has become a weekend getaway for many local & overseas visitors. Full of adventure and nature activities waiting for you. |

Where is
Gopeng is located about 20km south of Ipoh, the state capital of Perak and about 160km from Kuala Lumpur, the capital city of Malaysia. It coordinates is 4 28'N 101 10'E. [click here for map]
How to get there
Gopeng can be easily reach by land. Using the North-South Express Way, a 2 hours drive from Kuala Lumpur, exiting Gopeng Interchange (Exit 135). While from Ipoh, it only takes about 15 minutes drive, both highway and the trunk road.
