Kuala Selangor is located at the Selangor river mouth in the state of Selangor. This small town was formerly the royal capital of Selangor before it was replaced by Klang and then Kuala Lumpur. Traveler coming here especially to see the fireflies and enjoy the seafood.

About 15 mins drive from Kuala Selangor is Sekinchan. It is the rice bowl of Selangor and a small fishing village. The Padi field provides a scenic view for photography.

How to get there

The easier way to get to Kuala Selangor is by road. If you are driving, head towards Sungai Buloh and follow the road sign. It will lead you all the way to Kuala Selangor. If you are using Klang, head towards Kapar and follow road sign to Kuala Selangor. Both way should takes about 60 minutes.

They are also bus services to Kuala Selangor from Pudu Raya Bus Station.
