Caving

Caving is an outdoor activity of exploring a cave. It depends on what kind of cave being visited, most of the time you need to squeeze through, crawling, climbing, jumping and sliding. Some parts you may need to use ropes and special skill.

Caving can be a dangerous activity if it not properly guided. Lost, Hypothermia, falling, flooding and physical exhaustion are some of the risk. The risk can be minimised by hiring a certified guide, checking that there is no danger before the activity start, notify someone you are going into the cave and the time return back, use proper clothing in different environment cave and equip with proper gears.
Hard hats are worn to protect the head from bumps and falling rocks. Most of the time, cavers are reminded to bring more than one light source and extra batteries. First aid kit is also a necessary for emergency cases.
