Dear Wai,
Just wanted to let you know that we've successfully reached the summit
of Mt. Kinabalu this morning! We were a bit early and had to wait in
the cold for the sunrise for a bit, but it was most definitely worth
it, beautiful! The whole thing was fantastic btw, very nice resort,
great food, great guide and David's been a fantastic driver. Thanks a
lot for the great service, we will definitely recommend you to fellow
travellers planning on climbing the mountain.
Take care, best regards,
Arjen & Peter from Netherland@Jan 2012

Thanks for the fantastic time at Gopeng. My family all enjoyed ourselves and everyone gave it
two thumbs up. The river guides did a good job of keeping everyone out of harm's way and we
felt safe throughout the trip. Keep up the good work and see you soon. Thanks.

Wai Kong , Thanks for your arrangement, there was a heavy downpour around 12 midnight but
somehow we got the luck when we start to ascend, it was clear sky up there but start to rain
when we reach back to Laban rata. We are glad to be able to reach the peak and return home
safely. Thanks again for your great arrangement, it was a smooth sailing...
Thanks

Hi Wai Kong,
We made it to the top of the summit ! and are now back in Kuching nursing our tired and aching
legs, except for the two Sarahs who are seasoned climbers. Our climb to Laban Rata via Mesilau
took 6.5 hours with much encouragement from the two Sarahs and the patient mountain guide.
Descending to Timpohon took Sarahs 3 hours and the remaining 3 of us 4 hours
Akinabalu is excellent for cleanliness and central to the city. The mountain guide, Jomius was
fantastic with great photography skill and ever willing to give a helping hand. We had great
conversations with him along the way.
The hostel at Laban Rata is rather lacking in ventilation. With 10 people in a small room and
windows with just little gaps did not give us enough oxygen. Driver, David Kong is pleasent but
his driving habit has much to be desired for. Despite being tired, we were afraid to fall
asleep for fear of our safety. He seemed to "rushed" about on the roads.
On the whole, we had a great experience and once again it was a great pleasure to work with
you. Your thoroughness in logistics/planning for our trip was fantastic. I will not hesitate to
recommend you to anyone wishing to climb Mt Kinabalu.
Many thanks

KM Lim on Taman Negara trip (27 - 29 Aug 2010)
This is my first ever outing with MyTravelKaki... it is an independent community
where it's founder form to bring individual and groups to places around.
With it's tagline, Be a Traveller, Not A Tourist, the organizer organize trip to
places in the country and also within the region all the time... almost every
weekend and holiday there will be places to visit... places that sometimes never
heard before by the general public..
It was almost a last minute sign up and it is indeed a great experience for me...
I must really thank everyone who enrich my experience..
Superb trip.. this is how tour should be.. we often have the thinking of traveling
with a group of friends and venture places on our own.. the bond between friends
indeed increases..
But with MyTravelKaki, the experience is further brought a next level.. it allows
us to travel with a group of friends together with other strangers on a budget
yet very enjoyable..
I'm looking forward to much more future trips with MyTravelKaki! Once again thank you
for the awesome experience... it's something that I didn't had for a while.

Alvin Chang on Gunung Hantu Besar Expedition (17 - 18 July 2010)
"very well organized with good selection of guides that can share their
experience living in the forest. For those who do not have the experience
about camping a night or two in the forest, Wai Kong would be kind to share
his knowledge, his stove and whatever you can think of."

KY Ong on Mulu Pinnacles (30 Jan -2 Feb 2010)
First of all, thank you for all the good arrangement for our Mulu National Park and Pinnacles
trip from Wai Kong and our funny guide, Mr Han and also Mr Larry. Everything is well arranged
by them.
The trip was great and challenging. Personally i like Mulu National Park, especially Camp 5 and
the Pinnacles, more than Mt Kinabalu. I would say Mulu National Park is the place that you must
visit in Malaysia. For those who plan to go Mulu National Park, I will strongly suggest you to
stay one more night in Camp 5.
Four of us are very happy, enjoy and satisfied in the trip. Again, we will like to thanks to
Mr HanMulu for his professional knowledge and guidance. You are one of the best guide I ever
meet, Mr HanMulu. Thanks a lot!!!

Wai Tong on Mt. Kinabalu Climb (22-25 Mar 2009)
Completed the Mt Kinabalu climb with 9 others. Although there were 2 guides, Wai Kong & Khai's
experience and presence made a lot of difference, especially those need a bit more attention &
motivation. Mt Kinabalu is one of those must do destinations. I made it to the top just before
sunrise.. :)

Jessie on Belum, Tasik Temenggor (7-9 Mar 2009)
Surrounded by emerald green waters, rolling hills and greet by a perfect arch of the rainbow,
that's what we have experienced in our recent trip to the Royal Belum Forest.
Located at Tasik Temenggor, Perak, we stayed at a private island owned by the award
winning Belum Eco-resort Sdn. Bhd. Managed by the Khong's family, our handsome host,
Tom, made our stay a most enjoyable one. We expected to rough it out in the 130 million
years old forest but instead was greeted with 5-star dishes and treatments.
You'll have people to carry your bags, hot shower if you like, unlimited use of non-motor
watersport, fruits with every meal, baked potato with secret recipe sauce.....
This is really "Heaven" !!!
The best thing about this place is that it is built around the surrounding nature with
minimal trees being cut down. You'll never get bored enjoying the wonderful view. However,
if you are the type that can't stay away from the city entertaintment (hehehe...) you can
still watch the Astro & play mahjong (not kidding!!). But for me, doing nothing is just
the best........aahhhh. :)
(special thanks to Wai Kong for organising this trip)

Salina on MyTravelKaki Trips
Traveling was not my cup of tea in the past mainly because of the fear
of being neglected by unknown people I am traveling with. But that somehow changed when
I was introduced to mytravelkaki founder 5 years ago. Once started...it became an addiction.
Every trip gets better and more meaningful. This addiction had soon become my passion to
travel and I enjoyed every moment of it by capturing the nature's beauty; awed with ethnicity
of places visited and along came friendship to be cherished. You tend to like mixing with
mytravelkaki group as these people are so down to earth. Till now, I continue to find time in
between my hectic work schedule to join mytravelkaki friends and I hope you will too.
